We all are effected by the Nuclear Industrial Military Complex, be it the death and dying from Uranium Mining, Nuclear Energy fall out, Plutonium Pit Production, weapons used by the military, or the toxic waste that lays in ever increasing amounts in containers around the country. Stop New Nuclear Bomb Plants
Some members of Congress are currently pushing to build a huge plutonium facility for nuclear weapons at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, even though President Obama proposed postponing its construction for at least five years.
 
There is no need for the building. Existing facilities can maintain U.S. nuclear weapons without it. But on May 9, the House Armed Services Committee may vote to fund construction for next year.

Please call your representative today and ask her or him to oppose funding for this unnecessary nuclear weapons facility. You can also add your own thoughts about funding nuclear weapons. But please call before Wednesday May 9!
