The Currency of Love

In my Dreamseed Life Ways,  one way the Songlines of the Dreaming of Creationing are described is

E-Motion-All Intelligence. 

E-motion: Energy in Motion - feelings and non-linear sensory alive living motion, the electro-magnetic pulse-sing throughout all Life

All: coming from and being made from Love Source, which is unconditionally abundant and nourishing All Life

Intelligence: alive Conscious, Aware, Intention 

The Songlines flow through All Life, the Web of Life, The Net of Cosmos Light, the Universe. This flows in every plant, animal, swimmer, winged one, four leggeds, humans, small organisms, the Earth Mother, the Sun and Stars and Celestial bodies, the Clouds, Waters, Ocean, Air, Fire, Light, our bodies, cells, nervous system, our thoughts, feelings, breath and all the many senses we have. All Life is thriving, Alive, Conscious, Aware and Living in a sacred manner!  Wow how wonderful is this !

Our personal Songline is who we are, made from Love Source, we are all an eternal alive unique thread in the vast huge garden of Love Source’s alive, living, intentional, conscious, awareness, of Creationing. 

Some Peruvians call this our Song. 

The Lakota call this Mitakuye Oyas’in, we are all related, inner and interconnected with All Life.

I am only limited by my lack of conscious awareness, and can not move with intention without

conscious awareness. To know who and what I am, I became a great Life explorer full of curiosity. 

Recently a wonderful friend of mine invited me to delve deeper and vaster into my personal Songline to know more about my and this world’s present day relationship with money.

I was not taught alot about money growing up, so first I asked myself if and where there are any willingly or unwillingly, knowingly or unknowingly adopted beliefs, lies and ideas hindering the flow of money in my life? and 

What is money, really?

In todays world there were ideas and beliefs set in motion thousands of years ago.

Humans Naturally because they are part of Nature could commune with other Songlines so they could create things, experience being creators, create beauty. Long ago, and for some Peoples still today, it is to communicate with other Beings like the Cloud People to bring rain, or to ask for the knowledge within the Stone People, or by talking and communing with Plants to help heal and return one to Balance. 

However to do this, the Worlds ( earth, sky, spiritual, material, multi-dimentional) were to be kept in Balance.

For example: To Wildcraft plants means that we look for a minimum of 7 gatherings of that plant representing 7 generations and beyond before we gather any. This insures that the plant’s future generations may continue to live. Before gathering the plant. Heart-thoughts are spoken and sung, and an offering is given to that plant nation for good health and thriving live, and then the plant is asked if is willing to help the human people. And then one listens for the plant’s answer.

This Life Way was inner stood to maintain Balance in the World through relational reciprocity with the Plant’s Songline. 

For every thing that is received to live from the Earth Mother, we are to give something that is equal or more than what we have received. This is the Spiritual principle of Reciprocity and Generosity.

This is why so many peoples have the Give-Away, the Potlatch, Tithing, etc. 

These acts of sharing, generosity and cooperation insure that the Whole of the Community families are equally healthy. If some one comes upon hardship, like their house burning down, then the community comes to replace it. The health of Whole is more important than one having more than another. 

As we all can see, the World is Out of Balance because some take and hoard more than they need to Live in a healthy manner with All Life. Many many Peoples around the World are speaking warnings to the western industrialized nations about this. And many many peoples are finding ways to restore and live a World in Balance. 

I remember asking my Hopi Mentor when I was his helper:

“ What do I say to people asking what they are to pay you for healing?”

He explained to me, “ We do not put a price on this, because the Power of healing comes from Creation, we do not own this. Half of healing is our ability to receive the healing Power of Love that comes from Creation. This healing Power is available to us unconditionally all the time. 

However daughter, yes I need gas for the truck and clothes for the winter and to feed my family because I am not a farmer. What I do is help introduce another to the Source Love of Creation for what they need to return to Balance. So just ask the person what “healing” and being well is worth to them. That what ever they are giving is with the conscious aware intention of giving to Creation for the health they want to receive. Wellness is a precious gift of Life. You will see that some will bring money because that is all they have to give, some will bring food, some will bring a blanket, some may not have anything and it will all work out in a good way. We are in service to Creation’s Love Source Power, for the Greater Good of All Life and your Trust in this will grow too.”

From what you have read thus far, you may have gathered that I have lived outside of the world of commerce most of my life. I have been watching as many people receive hundreds and even thousands of dollars for what I have just shared here with you. I have been watching as more and more people come from far away lands out of the forests to help teach the western industrial peoples how to live in Balance with All Life. None of this that i mentioned is either good or bad, it just is, while we observe Creation's Love flowing to nourish a return to Balance.

I wondered about where the ideas and beliefs of self-worth being tied to money came from. 

First of all we are made from the unconditional Love of Creationing, so being "worthy" to receive abundance is a given.

So I began to research Admiralty Law or Maritime Law. These monetary “Laws” came from western civilization and have been exported around the world. In essence these are about the commodification of the “currency” of Earth, All Life (plant, animal, mineral, water, etc) and humans. 

However If I look at “currency” Spiritually rather than from a monetary perspective, “currency” is Love Source’s Songlines that we and All Life come from, are made of. 

Admiralty Law changed our relationship with the “currency” of Songlines because during that same time, the Holy See’s Papal Bulls deemed any woman, animal, plant, mineral, the earth herself as not having or not of the same alive living intelligent aware consciousness, and being less than, and inferior to the Church and man.

In practice the Holy See is about spiritual and material governance.

Thus with  Admiralty Law the Holy See appointed positions of “owner-ships”, which are military, priests, lawyers, doctors, etc (that swear to, commit to, and are obligated to uphold Admiralty Law)  

to maintain the collection of “currency” by any means possible: slavery, indentured servitude, genocide, war, conquest, false claims of “discovery” of lands already inhabited, mining, etc.

The Holy See said that these laws, doctrines, papal bulls, and owner-ships were from God.

Under the captain of admiralty law’s owner-ships, contracts and agreements happen in the berth/birth canal when “entering” the Waters of the Motherland, “docking”, and “coming ashore” onto the “Motherland”.

Admiralty Law may have been created because long ago one needed to approach, with reverence, ask for consent, and give reciprocity to the Mother to come into or through Her “lands”. 

What are her Lands?

The Ocean Water Womb, Birthing Watershed, navigable Water Veins , the Earth and her Natural World’s eco-system, and all of her children, all of which have alive living Songlines of “currency” which are both material and spiritual “Abundance” from Love Source Creationing.

Admiralty Law berthing, comes from the “Loin - to lend, or Rib of man”, Rib meaning the man’s bounty/food he has acquired from Source-God to share or not as he deems fit.

The berth canal is “feminine” because the Mother(lands) has a 3D physical water “canal” - to dock or berth a ship.

From a Spiritual perspective, the Songline and memory enters the Mother’s awareness before conception. Her Egg has both spiritual and physical DNA. The child grows in the Mother's Womb Waters and is birthed through the physical and Spiritual channel of the vagina. 

The umbilical cord nourishes the child's Songline physically and Spiritually though the Mother's Songline which is inner connectedness with the Love Source of Creationing. 

The Earth is our Space “ship”, our bodies are our Waka (canoes), and the Mother and Fathers and some Elders are the “Seers” who know the navigational Songlines in the Spiritual world and they hear the Spirit Names of the Songline of the child. This “spiritual navigation and physical navigation” and ability to "name" the Spirit of the child is very very ancient and sacred. 
In Natural or Spiritual Lore the Feminine is the "Lore of the Land, Waters and Sea (See)".

However, the Mother under Admiralty Law is required to report any berth/birth to the “Owner-ship” 

who then issues a name ( not spiritual name) of record which is attached to the “commerce” of that “canal”. 

The “commerce” is the property, booty and bounty from the Motherlands Songlines. 

Elders have talked about the “SleepWalkers”. These “birth/berth’s” are not “live births”, they are asleep births so that the “currency” (songlines) of the human being , and the currency songlines of “material goods and services” can be indentured through Admiralty Law to pay for those debts, obligations and contracts created by a variety of mining processes, to extract “currency” from All Life and the Motherlands. 

Is for this reason the patriarchy created queens, servants and slaves of the “motherlands” that would willingly or unwillingly, knowingly or unknowingly agree to uphold and be subservient “canals” to berth/birth under Admiralty Law. These Laws also govern international monetary funds today. In some cases the Mother(lands) then receives money, property and prestige in the eyes of the Holy See and Admiralty Law for doing this, IF she was from an important male line of heritage or in modern times becomes a political and participating ally of the Admiralty monetary system. 

On the surface it may be that these debts, liens, taxes, contracts, obligations are the “reciprocity”

with Love Source. After all, this pays for roads and gas and government agencies that help us manage and protect the motherlands.  Yes ? So, why is there so much control over who gets what and how much? Why are the rain forests burning and hurricanes blowing? Why is there pollution in Grandmother Oceans and Mother Rivers ? This is all about humans being disconnected from their own currency - Songlines. 

Because Admiralty Law includes the little known 1160 AD Roles of Oleron “obligation to cure” and because the Spiritual Lore of Love Source is healing and Life Giving, there is no doubt that all will be set aright. 

Are you still following my curiosity? I hope I have made some sense here.

Can we forgive ourselves for upholding and even needing still to participate in Admiralty Law?

Believe me when I say the unhealthiness of the Admiralty Law is changing out of necessity, and by creativity, and being intentional for the what and why we share our “currency” for. For currency to return to land of the living it must flow like Water flows, like freely flowing Love ~ 

Am I ready to release all that no longer serves the Greater Good of All Life with love and forgiveness? 

Am I ready now for what else is possible?

Yes! and So this Is.

We are being shown and guided to be relationally response able for our Songlines and our Songlines inner and interconnection with the Love Source of Creationing and All Life. This “relational responsibility” are our heart-thoughts, our feelings, our actions, our voice for sharing Love, Truth, Reverence, Gratitude, and Forgiveness. We are being shown that is humans who have created a World out of Balance, and we are learning to set the World in Balance again within ourselves, and with Earth and the Love Source of All Life. This is a beautiful journey. 

May any tears we cry from the grief for the loss of our Beloved Natural Songlines of Earth, Sky and Waters, be the waters that nourish DreamSeeds to bloom. All Life is conceived in the Spiritual and then comes into 3D form. That which we think we have lost, can not be lost because it returns to Creationing's infinite potentiality, or becomes an Ancestar or ...

This Love is the natural Power of Creation. This Power is not the “authority” of man made-laws. Creation did not make any mis-takes when Creationing created All Life and the human family. 

We are at an epic time to ask and keep asking ourselves: What else is possible? without defining the “possible”, by staying aware and awake and alive and flowing in the sovereignty and healthy free will choices we make in alignment with our Songlines and Love Source Creationing’s infinite potentiality. Maybe how we live and give our "currency" is one of the greatest potentialities we have to share. No matter how small a word and act of loving kindness and generosity may seem makes a difference.

Now in the infinite Love Source of Creationing that is always and eternally free flowing 

am in total receptivity and receiving the Abundance and Blessings of this Love

through my Songline for the Greater Good of All Life.  

When we live life in a manner of reverence, this makes it so.

Due to the lack of representation for my neighborhood, am writing you all directly. I am concerned about how Town and County "major development" projects will impact my health, the health of my neighbors and this Sacred Taos Valley that gives us Life. 

I am a resident of Lower Las Colonias, east and slightly south of the EPWSD Midway Well, the proposed new asphalt plant by Perovich Properties, AND am in the sacrifice zone of the Town of Taos Airport. 

I am very concerned about what the Midway Well, the proposed asphalt plant and increasing Jet Flights and Jet Fuel emissions will do to the health of water, air, land and quality of life here.

As you may know, historically implementing NEPA-EIS protocols is no guarantee that the Town Council and County Commissioners will protect our water, air, land and quality of life no matter what the results of such a process documents. 

There are other aspects of this to consider as well.

1. The Town/County "major development" rules and regs state that NEPA-EIS is "discretionary", not mandatory. A NEPA - EIS for the proposed asphalt plant should be mandatory, not at the "discretion" of Planning and Zoning and the County Commissioners.  Any "major development" project, that will impact our domestic wells, surface water, ag and garden lands we depend on for food, and quality of life should comply at the minimum with NEPA, because as we have unfortunately seen this minimum has not always protected Taos Valley from the adverse impacts and pollution caused by past approvals of major developments (with or without NEPA-EIS) that are harming us today. 

2. EPA, Federal Agencies and Courts, do not always rule in favor of the health of Earth, all life and humans.

3. "Quality of Life" (QoL) may mean a variety of things to different people. For example: to Perovich, and the Town and County, the asphalt plant may mean more personal $, locally made road repair products at competitive prices, and a few jobs despite the health risks. 

"QoL" may mean domestic wells running dry as a result of Mega Wells so that every home can be hooked up to pay for water that is treated and sanitized.

"QoL" may mean that Taos becomes like any resort USA, where everything is trucked in and locals can not afford to live there.

For myself and many others "QoL" means healthy clean Air, Water, Earth and Seeds. QoL means living in balance and harmony with Earth, healthy locally grown heirloom food, glowing Night Skies and the song of Nature. 

* The proposed asphalt plant running 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, 50 weeks a year will use lots of water, contaminate our water supply, by creating noxious fumes, dust and noise. It will contaminate our Air, Water and Land. Asphalt plants use and release some of the most toxic substances.

* The proposed increase of Taos Jet flights into summer and fall also poses Noise, Air, Water, Earth, Food and Quality of Life health risks:

consumption of components of "...in Jet A fuels, were reported as suffering harmful effects on the respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, and nervous system. The observed effects included cough and difficulty breathing, abdominal pain and vomiting, drowsiness, restlessness, and convulsions."

As you may know the Air Force, with all their $, expertise and safety measures, spilled and leaked Fuel into the aquifer in Albuquerque and to date, 20 years later, the contamination has not been cleaned up.

As you may know all things mechanical break. It is not if but when this real and imminent threat of a fuel spill into this northern watershed occurs, while ever increasing fuel emissions fall from the Air onto our eco-system, watershed and food. 

Moreover, since approximately, July of 2018, the Town of Taos does not have an Airport Manager that meets the Town's own criteria of expertise.

The Town, County, Taos Airport Committee and Neighborhood Associations have not provided a means for adequate representation and participation by the residents who are the most impacted by the Airport, to determine safer Airport management operations. As per a recent call to the FAA, "Taos Airport's 'regional' designation is now like a public federal HWY, ... a regional airport has to be open for flights 24 hours per day, same as a public HWY and the military can use the airport... the no flight zone over Taos Pueblo is voluntary and would need a congressional act to make this an actual no flight zone" and in reference to the advertising of no TSA by Taos Air, "true, you do not know if contraband or drugs are being flown in or out of your community". 

We also briefly discussed ways to mitigate and solve these current issues, which we local residents were assured would be mitigated in the original MOA and Resolution, and are currently being disregarded.

While my Commissioner and Neighborhood Association does not return phone calls nor answer emails about any concern I or my neighbors may have, they therefore can not say that the residents of my area are being represented, or that we agree with how they may or may not vote on any issue or "major development". 

Therefore: Now in the time of Climate Change, the Town and County must focus on economic development that decreases CO2 emissions and pollution, increases healthy food and energy sustainability, protects the health of our watershed and quality of life. 

Moreover, while there are claims of increased revenues by the Town ( and County?) who have not yet provided an Independent Retail Impact Survey to the public, and the County chose to give 200K (?) to the Town for more marketing of the Airport, my retail statistics at a Plaza business show not one person who came into the business came by plane, nor were there any sales from skiers. Skiers come for the Snow. Nor has the business experienced any sales from Plaza or Park Concert participants. 

There are other ways the County could benefit from 200K of marketing and economic development that preserves our quality of life and improves the economy for more local residents, not just the Town, Taos Ski Valley, realtors, restaurants, hotels and a few ski shops.

Since many of us use wells and water catchment, increased Jet Flights, emissions and the proposed asphalt plant will jeopardize our clean Water, Air, Lands and quality of Life. Our recent drought has impacted both plant and animal life, such that any additional pollution on the ecosystem will have negative consequences that we will be passing onto future generations. 

We depend on the Quality of our Air, Water, and Earth that give us Life, now, and for future generations to come. 

The proposed increased Air Flight Traffic and proposed asphalt plant will jeopardize my life and enjoyment of my home, decrease property values, and jeopardize all of Taos residents health. 

Residents have solutions to these matters and are available to work with the Town, County and others in shared and responsible ways.

I give gratitude to the Indigenous Youth Council for their Run for Water on Sunday April 13th, 2019.

There are no borders on water, air and land. What happens on this or that side of the imaginary borders, will effect all life and everyone.

This Bear has been musing about Water, Earth, Air, Sun and Life, here in the sacred valley of Taos, and have decided to split this post into 4 parts, for the light hearted reader ~ because there is no Life without Water, Earth, Air, and Sunlight.

Part 1

Our responsibility for living in healthy relationship with Earth, is necessary

for human and all life’s existence.

In recent Taos history, there was a 25 year long resistance to the Airport Runway Expansion. By 2016 the EIS that was being used to push the expansion through no longer reflected the increase of residents that would be directly impacted by the expansion. You might think that there would have been more rigorous safety and ecological standards put in place by the County and Town prior to such an expansion. This was not done, despite residential out cry and many now live in an airport “Sacrifice Zone”.

During those 25 years people living in the Upper Las Colonias area, created a neighborhood association to unify their political, water and land use aspirations with El Prado Water and Sanitation District. The wood man, and the Upper Colonias neighborhood association man became county commissioners and Lower Las Colonias, and Lower Blueberry Hill became an invisible ignored orphan in the scheme of things, and the resistance to the Airport Runway Expansion was lost, and won by those who’s “airport expansion” is just one part of the federal and state funded projects for their economic prosperity “plan” connected to the Abeyta Settlement.

Now the wood man is Mayor of the Town that owns the airport, Upper Las Colonias still has has their county commissioner, and EPWSD got the Abeyta Settlement of fed and state $ to mine water, for the next phase of their “plan”. Tarleton, another Upper Las Colonias Neighborhood Association board member, has been diligently polishing up his part of the plan, with professionally marketed eco-language, websites, and pipe dream$ made of mined water to the residents of the county. Have heard that the land is located in a “flood plane” and appropriate for grazing buffalo, cattle and sheep. Let us hope this alone, makes the County think about their liability should they try to approve building there. 

Listening over the years to our neighbors, the wood man, the neighborhood association man, the water man, the Abeyta Settlement men.....about their “Plan”.

Why you might ask WHAT would EPWSD need approximately 550 AFY water over and above, the approximately 25 AFY they currently use?

Whom else down, up, and local stream have water needs and or economic expansion plans that need water?

Why would Taos Pueblo tell EPWSD that they need to move further away from their Buffalo Pastures?

And who down steam from this "plan" will become the the water "treatment", sacrifice zone?

All above and below water is interconnected. What happens over here, will affect over there.

The “Plan”, in simplified terms, from what this abuelita has been listening to that has been said, is that this is a “plan” for a HWY 64 to Ski Valley Corridor which needs the Airport expansion for military, personal/private and tourist Ski Valley flights, and the industrial/commercial-casino-hotel-shopping mall-“eco”-housing-tourism-playgrounds for the benefit of tourists and investor-developers, and maybe all the families that have sold the lands and waters off for this “Plan”.

All of this needs Water to develop.

Part 2

Deep Aquifer Drilling to mine Water for the Tarleton Ranch Eco Village development,

the expanded airport to serve a military-tourist-industrial-casino-hotel-housing-shopping mall

HWY 64 corridor “Plan”, and other entertainment play grounds for the rich and famous have ONLY taken a few decades to encroach on the land, water and life-ways of “locals”, whom often say “If you don’t like it, move.” yet it is “locals” whom for whatever reasons, historically,  “privatized” the land tracks, so they could be sold off. We now have a wonderful “cosmopolitan” mix of residents, some even stepping up to being participating members of town and county governing bodies.

When I look at the Rio Grand Gorge and the HWY 64 to the Ski Valley corridor Plan, I see the same kind of interests wanting to exploit this Sacred Taos Valley, as the Escalade Developers of the Grand Canyon, and wonder if the People will rise up as they have in the past and recognize that the Milagro Bean Field War, is not over. Tarleton Ranch “Eco-Village” Development

is not in alignment with the 30% water rights agreed upon in the Abeyta Settlement.

"30% water rights” for 30,000 plus local residents, for this abuelita, means that

un-checked expansion and development for a 200 - 400 2nd or 3rd home ownerships, and  

90 “unknown-types” of commercial developments is not feasible, is not healthy, during this time of drought. Nor does this abuelita think that we need another alcohol vendor…in the likes of a 500 person capacity building to distill and serve whisky.

30% water rights, means that this side of the “cattle guard” needs to live within the 30% of what Taos Watershed will naturally provide. To exceed this, will also affect Taos Pueblo and All future generations to come, because all water is inter-connected. However, the Abeyta Settlement

benefactor, El Prado Water and Sanitation District (EPWSD), has the answer: 

Mine Water for expansion and? 

And thus was awarded an increase in water “rights”, am sure by hard won “negotiations” for the “Plan”. 

The mining of water for the increase of water consumption by EPWSD from approx. 25 AFY to 575 AFY for development that’s primary purpose is to serve private or corporate investor-developer interests? To have every home near and far hooked up to piped, chlorinated water? Why not move to Santa Fe or Albuquerque for that? Their “Plan” and economic model based on tourism, and housing sub-divisions for 2nd and 3rd home owners, is not sustainable. Nor are commercial industries with high water usage. 

An economic model with roots in the vitality of water, food, energy and locally made goods and services, is “sustainable”.

Now is the time to invest in the life, land, foods and culture of the local peoples.

Tourists will come and go, entertainment will come and go, what is in fashion will come and go, oil and gas has come and is going, and one day, as has happened before, the truck will not come to feed our children.

To be truly “sustainable” a community must be able to feed the people. Taos Pueblo and the neighboring villages, were once able to do that. We can do that again, however to do this, means that

dependance and addiction to unsustainable lifestyles, need to change, or 

at the very least, get healing for our addictions.

Part 3

Our responsibility for living in healthy relationship with the Earth, is necessary

for human and all life’s existence.

Our first priority needs to be in implementing solutions for water conservation, water catchments, aquifer and watershed-replenishment-agri-cultural methods, solar, recycling, composting, compostable potties, and locally “owned” production of goods and services for the cultural health and vitality of the current population, and future generations.

Development that does not recognize or acknowledge the impact on water, the watershed, residents, animal habitat and migration patterns, nature, existing culture, and night skies, beyond 500 to 1000 feet from it’s boundaries is not sustainable in this region. We are all inter-connected.

Why build and who really benefits from another “housing and business complex” when there are a plethora of vacant commercial spaces, rents are too high for locals, and portions of the county are under or totally un-represented by the county commissioners? 

Part 4 

Some say “If we build it, they will come”. What has been built and what do we have?

To name a few: 

We live in the Sacred Taos Valley of a World Heritage site of the Taos Pueblo Peoples. 

The Rio Grande del Norte National Monument is the main water artery of our region, home of the famous Gorge Bridge and Gorge Bridge Vendors. 

We have the internationally famous Greater World Eco-Village, that truly is an “eco- village” that does not need wells, or piped water to exist.

We have expanded the airport to accommodate the military, personal-private commuter planes and tourist flights, regardless of the adverse affects it has on Elk migration, coyotes, the bee, bird, bat and butterfly, etc… populations…oh but, I guess developers would not know about that because they don’t actually live in the Sacrifice Zone, that at one time had lots of sheep and horses. 

We have a Taos Golf Course and Country Club, and astroturf high altitude olympic training and soccer field. 

We have about a dozen radio stations that include KVOT, KKIT, the World Famous Solar Radio Station and bar, Cultural Energy Radio and KNCE- the Taos Stream. 

We have annual Fiestas, Rodeo,Taos Pueblo Pow Wow, Circus, Taos Art Tour, the Wool Festival and a variety of art venues and fairs.

We have 4 Ski Resorts in the area, Taos Pueblo Casino, Ojo Caliente Hot Springs Resort, an Artist Colony, 2 health and tennis spas with swimming pools, the village plazas for shopping, Breweries, the Hempstress and Wumanity, Taos Film Auditorium, a new Park Concert Sound stage, Taos Town Plaza Music concerts,Yoga, Martial Arts and Dance studios, River Rafting, Eco-petro-glyph hiking tours, Balloon rides, Equestrian rides, Unicorn School Supply, print and copy shops, more than 100 restaurants and a plethora of hotels, 

We have some of the best locally grown foods in the world, the Farmer’s and Red Willow Markets, great grocery stores, fair trade coffee shops and the Taos Food Co-op, 

and numerous bars, liquor, dollar, outlet and wal-mart type stores. 

And let us not forget the Mayor’s annual pig roast dinner, pancake breakfast, and 130K Christmas lights on the plaza.

Many of these serve both local and tourist entertainment, and yet…what are we lacking investment in? What more could we possibly need to be happy, besides turquoise skies, the sweet illumination of the cosmos, the still quiet music of nature, and savory green chile?

It is not “sustainable” to be unable to feed the current population from what we grow, ranch, gather, hunt and trade, though this is still possible to do, if we chose to “invest” in true “sustainability”. 

What will you do when the truck doesn’t come to feed our children? Have you seen the bare shelves in the grocery stores when the truck hasn’t come for a day or two? 

To transition from dependance on externally driven markets to nourishing our local and regional needs, we are told, is harder to do, and not as financially lucrative, enticing for “investors” or “there aren’t any federal and state dollars out there for that”. Well, isn’t it the JOB of the governing representatives to work for the People? or is it only to work for those that commute to work in their private planes ? oh, wait, I forgot, our government in part runs on taxing the people, land, and goods and services and the Town has now invested in the entertainment industry.

Locally made products and services may or may not flourish without investing partners. However, there is the local  thousands of years old indigenous knowledge and

life ways, that has lived “sustainably” since before “civilization” came here.

Is time to think like Zapatistas. 

To name only a few dreams I dream of….community owned, yes i said it….

“community owned and operated”, grainery-bakery and nix-mal ( fresh locally grown corn masa) tortillaria facility, a canning facility for a “Taos feeds Taos” locally grown food and seed bank, a hemp, wool and fabric facility, a health products facility, a “solar oven” factory, a solar panel and compostable potty retro-fit your home and car facility, hemp bio-fuel facility, a few small fields for high density herb, berry and specific types of medicinal trees and a processing facility to process the medicinals, and groups of youth taking care of old folks by putting in drip lines and water catchments for small gardens, and remember the trash sorting facility we were promised ?, well how about one of those big box buildings to store the glass until we have enough to sell, instead of crushing it up and spreading it on the earth? …. 

I dream of collaborations between aging family farmers and young farmers, and old orchards gently retiring and giving birth to younger trees….I dream of enough community centers to serve the under and non-represented areas of this county, and the ones under lock and key would open up for the use of the communities they are supposed to serve…. I dream of affordable homes for those that need homes.

I dream that the community will begin to have the necessary conversations about what “sustainability” looks, feels, and tastes like, and what the relationship with water, earth, air and sun have to do with this, and make a collective “plan” and choose to live it.

A Community Resolution for the Right of Water, the Watershed and Earth?

After all is said and done, let us please be honest about the worldwide war on water, earth, air, energy, and human beings being free. Let us be honest about our own addiction to the convenience, of more is better. 

What easier way to enslave, remove or eliminate a “surplus” population, than to take the water ?

What we need, dare I say it?  Yes. 

The Earth needs to be given back to the Children of Earth.

When a Billion-Millionaire comes here and says, “here am giving this back to you, so yous may live.I’m giving this back to you because I already have enough for myself and my heirs for the next 7 generations, am giving this back to you because you belong to this sacred place before I got here”….That is when hope will float, green washing carbon foot prints will be understood for what they are and the financially rich will deeply understand that they can not live the lifestyles they live, without exploiting the earth, employing servants, and building on the backs of people who grow the food that feeds them from 

the breasts of the Earth’s watershed.

Now is the time to rise and live, speak and give action for the Love of Life.

A Dollar Store Prophecy

A Dollar Store Prophecy:

Not so long ago the dreams and visions that came to people were considered and respected as sacred guidance from Creation. 

Some dreams and visions have become known today as “prophecies”, because the accuracy of them foretold the truth and consequences 

about the choices human beings were given 

regarding which road or path to live. 

Knowledge nor political position is Power. 

Power is the choice to use knowledge wisely for the greater good of All Life. 

Abuse this Power and loose it. 

What will you do when the truck doesn’t come to fill the dollar store shelves with cheap toxic food, plastic, chemicals and goods from China ? 

As Arundhati Roy so eloquently wrote:  “Our strategy should be not only to confront empire, but to lay siege to it. To deprive it of oxygen. To shame it. To mock it. With our art, our music, our literature, our stubbornness, our joy, our brilliance, our sheer relentlessness – and our ability to tell our own stories. Stories that are different from the ones we’re being brainwashed to believe.

The corporate revolution will collapse if we refuse to buy what they are selling – their ideas, their version of history, their wars, their weapons, their notion of inevitability.

Remember this: We be many and they be few. They need us more than we need them.

So, what else is possible?

As I look upon the big box stores that litter my community’s thinking, land and life with cheap, toxic food, plastic and clothes…Remembering when we did not know we were financially “poor” …when the wombs of hornos giving birth to sweet, spicy, savory foods from our relationship with water, earth and the seeds of life was the fabric that clothed us in cooperation and filled our bellies with belonging to earth and sky and each other. 

Know this: When the land is paved over for airports, big box stores, etc.. that land dies from the toxic materials used to build such. That land will be toxic for generations, because you can not simply remove the concrete and parking lot and road materials from the land to be healthy again, because there are toxic materials used that leach into the earth below it. Yet some still think that paving over paradise will bring them security, through financial wealth, a security that is only temporary and at the cost of pollution to our water, earth and cultures.  And the hand full of low paying “jobs” at best, are not “economic sovereignty”. So, the county got rid of Stan’s Treasure Island recycle store and instead opted for corporate trash to feed and cloth our community ? As if corporate trash is more acceptable than the free boxes for the “poor” ? We are not “poor” nor do we choose to be “victims” to corporate empire, faux economic models, and  “rich” people’s “playgrounds”. 

So I look upon these big box stores, and in my dream-visions I see their corporate masters leave due to the lack of business, no one buying their cheap, toxic, plastic goods… and I see infinite potential born from the Power of the Peoples….

In my dreams I see these big-box buildings being taken over as Public Commons Buildings, and being re-tooled with solar power, water catchments and compostable potties, because the current Planning and Zoning does not have adequate rules and regs insuring that the buildings that are being built adhere the environmental standards needed for Earth and Water “changes” of today.

And these Public Commons Buildings are returned to the People to give space for:

Seed storage, a locally grown Food Bank, a fabric and wool and leather, clothing and quilt sewing machine complex, an Artisan, local health products, and furniture complex, a Grain Mill, a fruit and food cannery, a community meat dehydrator, a Solar facility for solarizing ALL of our homes, and a real Nixmal tortillaria, and bakery…OR how about a storage building for our recyclable glass, until we have enough to sell or bring glass blowers to town, so that the glass is not just broken up and spread on the land ….or how about a trash sorting facility? remember the one we were promised ? ….to name only a few uses…..

In my dreams “every job” serves the life and culture of the People, the water is not pumped out of the Heart of Mountains, rather is reverently respected as the life blood from which we are all responsible for cooperatively caring and sharing….and so too is everything that we CHOOSE to build or not build done with the same remembering and reverence that Earth gives us Life.

In my dreams our community representative-politicians resist drinking and thinking from the kool-aid manufactured by the corporate-capitalist-unending-progress-unsustainable economic model, and then marketing it to our community; for if we allow our representatives to pump the water from the Heart of these Mountains and Pave Paradise, one day they will remember while walking the ghost towns of Taos valley, that “they thought they could bury us, but they did not know we are seeds”….

In my dreams this valley is a flourishing garden, with new orchards being planted as the older ones begin to retire and re-emerge into worm and compost farms. 

Water sovereignty = Food  sovereignty = Energy Sovereignty = Collective and Personal sovereignty.

In my dreams, when the roads wash out or crumble, or become too packed with ice and snow, both to the north and south of us… leaving the dollar store shelves bare, the people will Rise and take back the earth, return to planting seeds, and making adobes out of necessity and the love of life….

We all know that Earth herself will have the last say ~ She is already speaking to us.

Are we listening? Human beings are only one organism of the whole of earth’s children. 

The harm to one is the harm to all. The honor of one is the honor of all.

There are so many wonderful human beings that have come to this Sacred valley, this Sacred place, Sacred Home,  to live in harmonious relationship with earth, sky, culture and family. 

Having traveled near and far, the issues everywhere are the same, the trash is the same trash made from the same corporate entities making chemical foods and plastic from oil, and the choices are the same.  In the same way that this trash and chemically manufactured foods, chemical soaps, detergents, make-up, clothes - clogs rivers and streams, litters the ranchos and arroyos, fills the land dump, and is now islands of trash in the ocean…so too this trash and chemicals are clogging the arteries of our bodies, minds and life ways. What we do to the Earth, we do to ourselves. 

There will be no peace without peace with Earth, Water, Air and Fire/SunLight. We as human beings were given sacred intelligence, to understand the natural laws of nature, for living in beautiful harmony with Earth. The time is Now, to Rise, for the future generations of water, land, all life and the human family. 

So my beloved Town and County representatives and the Planning and Zoning regulators and all the people employed in The People’s halls of laws and regulations, remember that you work for the People, and the People, you and your future generations included, can not and will not flourish culturally or economically without a healthy Earth. What we allow to be put into our community we allow to be put into our bodies and minds. I am old and you are young, please take heed to these dream-visions and deeply consider the temporary wealth you may acquire, and at what cost to earth, water and culture, that is not computed in your antiquated economic models. 

No Water, No Earth, no Life. 

As representatives of the Peoples, it is your responsibility to seek out funding for culturally and ecologically healthy “economic” venues that will serve to nourish our community Sovereignty as a whole. Taos has everything that a people’s could need to grow enough food to feed everyone here, and create goods and services to trade with other communities…   Another Dollar Store will not provide food, energy, economic and cultural sovereignty to Taos. Then again, if you build it, the People will take it back and do something useful with it, just as the dreams and visions of seeds have infinite potentiality to return to the earth and grow life.

Am writing today, as we are experiencing a great wave of awareness of Earth's Nature, Human Nature, Sky Nature, All Life Nature responses responding to the the normalization of Domination that has been willingly adopted and unwillingly imposed on All Life.

We can be "aware" of "something", yet not know where this something came from or why violence keeps being re-lived, imposed and reinvented throughout American social, political, educational, environmental, media,  systems of living. We can tell ourselves, "oh it is a learned behavior". Ok, well where was this behavior of violence learned, who taught it? and if this is unhealthy for us, why are we still doing it? And the most interesting belief is "we chose to experience domination and violence".

These "somethings" appear in even the most "environmentally conscious" organizations, institutions and movements in recent history. Is like an addiction to something harmful to us. Is so pervasive in it's "normalcy" that some cultures have created a nice safe place called the "unconscious" to store it in. Most will agree that masculine and white privilege, lateral violence, verbal abuse, domestic violence, rape culture, and molestation is about control and domination. How many times have we heard an abuser say, "don't tell", "is our secret", "you're special", "you're the chosen one", "is for your own good", "am spiritually guided to do so" and even..."god love's you" and "I will bestow on you blessings".

Many have had enough. Many choose to focus all attention on solutions, creating beauty, sharing with others, being in prayer, being of service, creating a different reality, being in another reality, and some are in the practice of seeing no evil, hearing no evil and speaking no evil.

"Domination" is a very powerful drug. In Relational Cultures, the concept of "domination" does not exist. How we relate to, and understand "power" and what and why we give our personal power/energy to or With something is effected by experiences of domination. People and systems of domination use multitude forms of violence to Subjugate others emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually (EMPS), this is the economic fuel for the engine of Domination. If a person can be convinced to give their EMPS power/energy away to the subjugation systems of Domination, then there is no cohesive and coherent change. For example: the word "No" has been spoken in english to first language english speakers for at least a thousand years, and has not diminished nor stopped another from doing acts of violent domination.

In 1493 the Holy See issued Papal Bulls that legitimized to themselves, the conquest of Abya Yala (the Americas) by deeming that the inhabitants of any lands and territories not of the Catholic religion, and persons not caucasian Catholic/Christian males, were of inferior intelligence, and not fully human beings. The Papal Bulls also sanctioned the conquest, domination, genocide and established territorial ownership rights over peoples and the lands for caucasian catholic/christian men (patriarchy). Following in the Vatican’s lead, other countries, (France, Spain, England, Netherlands = world domination) in complicity with the Catholic/Christian domination code and hefty war chests acquired from the pillaging of sacreds, the water, mineral and plant organs of Mother Earth, and enslaving human beings, began to divy up the world territories and claiming divine right of domination and ownership (economics of domination).  For more on this subject see and listen to this documentary, at https://www.38plus2productions.com/.

To maintain this domination system of subjugation, a mass media dis-informational system was enacted through military and educational Missionary systems of violence (military, churches and schools) and has exponentially grown through out the "psychology of media" that is one of the integral Arms of Domination.

The aforementioned clearly establishes white male privilege, the culture of misogyny, racism and classism of empire, and "benefits" to all those who align with it and become "allies".

Today Domination has become internalized ideological indoctrinations that few can even recognize are at work in their thinking, feeling and behaviors.  The ideologies of the Papal Bulls created positions of authority and implied or inferred assumptions of impeccable integrity for those that are practitioners and "allies" of that “religion” and the “rule of law” which are laws created to uphold the Doctrines and Bulls, in the Doctrines and Bulls Courts, governments, education, economics, and systems. This is a “Kangaroo” system… and i mean no disrespect to the Kangaroo, am only using the language that Americans recognize as meaning:  “a court held by a legitimate judicial authority who intentionally disregards the court's legal or ethical obligations” in order to maintain the appearance that the  Doctrine of Discovery, Manifest Destiny and the Papal Bulls and it's systems of subjugation are “legitimate” as well as the actions of “legalized” war, assault, rape and pillaging of Earth and her children.

So, if we report, and go to these courts, we can not expect truth, justice, and reconciliation. We can however, jam their courts with overwhelming numbers of cases, that their courts will implode under the weight of truth.

No Court of Domination, can change the Truth.
So think about who the Vatican subjugated first, their women.
The formula worked so well, it has been exported around the world.

For example: The appointment of a Arpaio Maricopa County prosecutor to question Dr. Ford, was not lost on us. Nor the "old boyz club" that grooms successors, through alliances with Kozinski.

Furthermore: rape and sexual assault is a common part of the Papal culture of War and Military training for "God and Country". See documentary “The Invisible War”.

Some glorify “freedom”: "the suffix of “dom” on free"dom" means to dominate, thus, freedom means, the domination over free", oh how cleaver we be, in the crazy matrix of illusion of the english language. ( Steve Newcomb, 38+2 productions).

While “ American democracy” is dressed up as the poster child for "land of the free", and glorified and commodified all over the the world, there has never been an American “democracy”,…if there had been or is, we would not be resisting the oppression, and “fighting for rights” today, now. America was created by a group of white men. Call them “white” and be clear on what “white” means, because the Irish and Sami are still resisting this abomination. “White” today means to me, “anyone who is willing to uphold and live by the Doctrines and Bulls indoctrinations and all the systems of oppression that the Doctrines and Bulls have created to enslave Earth, the human family and all life. There are many educational pathways to heal and come into our wholeness as human beings, restoring our ability to mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually, untangle ourselves from the matrix of Doctrines and Bulls’ ideo-ill-logical violence and systems that is the internalized dominating presence in American Culture. 

My personal statistics, from personal experience: There are many forms of violence and domination, and we have named them sexism, racism, classism, etc etc etc. So am way over the top on the 1 in 4 women statistics. Real statistics are that women, PoC, LGBTQ, and all genders and ages will experience violence multiple times, and in multiple forms,  in their lifetime. Violence toward Everyone, and All Life is a worldwide phenomenal crisis.  The majority of perpetrators are White males, because they are the majority who maintain the beliefs, privileges and systems of the Doctrines and Bulls, that are acquired and maintained through the many forms of domination. Be that domination the funding of wars, the extraction of oil, corporate welfare, dolling out slave wages, etc. All the women who fall in lock step stockholm syndrome with them, are no different than queens of the middle ages, that attained position, property and $ through marriage and alliance with the Kings aligned with the Vatican’s Doctrines and Bulls.

So how does everyone else fall prey to being indoctrinated in the systemic systems of the Doctrines and Bulls?

Very simple, the system provides ways to gain money, property and prestige/position. These ways are marketed to you every day, in every way, in every flavor, color, and size. Is not easy to live outside the system. We have families to feed, cloth, and shelter. Yup, we still be in a 3-D world of form, we eat, sleep, poo, need healthy water, we get cold and hot..... get a job, need a job, and if we loose the job, don't have $ for health care, etc....well...like Johnny said, "you pay to be born, pay to live and pay to die" in this system of domination.

Ever wonder why in the 60’s when there was a big movement to “change the system from within the system”, and we saw the corner "food" stores replaced by liquor stores, and an increase in drugs on the streets?

We can not change the systems of domination from within the same constructs, language, thinking, and behaviors of those systems. These "systems" have been and are designed and created in such a way to maintain Domination. For Example, let's decode:, "Creating life long appointments/positions to America's Supreme Court, to uphold, set precedence, and determine the "law of the land". The word "supreme" defining the hierarchy of man made law over Earth and all who are children of Earth. When the present "justices" die, another one made in the image of the Holy See's Doctrines and Bulls, is appointed to take the seat until they die. This is just one aspect of Domination's idea of eternal life.

We are seeing a Rise in human awareness and activity giving their power and energy to gatherings, on-line educational seminars, with or without knowing, if they are recreating another hierarchal structure of domination or truly undoing the internalized systems of domination and violence within their own thinking, feeling and way of Being a human being. Domination teaches us not to trust in our Natural knowing, Natural senses. Domination teaches us to give our inherent power and intelligence away and to follow in the shadows of the perceived religion, political party, leader, guru, who's voice is loudest, who's on TV, standing at the podium, is dressed in a uniform, has acquired a degree, got the most FB likes....whatever.

May we give care to innerstanding that liberation starts from within and liberation from domination is relational.

One "something" for sure is that domination also falls like dominoes.

Meanwhile enough will never be enough in the great debate over she said he said, innocent until proven guilty, and corroborating evidence in "Kangaroo" courts.
